The first EENA conference after the COVID-19 pandemic took place between 6 and 8 October 2021, in Riga, Latvia. In addition to the latest developments and projects that were not covered in the past 2 years, the programme also covered several topics that have been introduced by the pandemic. The conference was the perfect opportunity for WorkingAge partners to present the E112 service.
Telespazio and EENA presented the E112 service in the session “Smart environments providing PSAPs with enriched data about the emergency situation”. The presentation introduced the WorkingAge project and its objectives, the rationale for developing the E112 service, how the service works, how the user location is estimated and how the implementation of the service follows the Pan-European Mobile Emergency Application (PEMEA) architecture to ensure that it can work in all of Europe.
The presentation will be available at the EENA conference website from 25 Oct 2021.
